The role

We are seeking a professional and experienced Facilities Co-ordinator to lead the delivery of facilities services across multiple sites in North West Wales. This is a vital, people-facing role that plays a key part in maintaining safe, efficient, and welcoming environments for our staff, visitors, and service users.

Reporting to senior management, the Facilities Co-ordinator will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of both hard and soft services, ensuring full compliance with statutory health and safety requirements. The role involves the supervision of a small on-site team, the coordination of external contractors, and the delivery of high-quality operational support across all locations.

As the first point of contact for all facilities-related matters, the postholder will be expected to demonstrate sound judgement, excellent organisational ability, and a strong commitment to service excellence. This is an office-based role that requires regular travel between sites; a full UK driving licence and a flexible, proactive approach are therefore essential.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied and dynamic operational portfolio, and to contribute meaningfully to the effectiveness and safety of our sites. It is well suited to a facilities professional with a strong compliance background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a desire to make a practical difference in a supportive and collaborative working environment.

As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to an NRW office within the place base / location above and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.

To make an informal enquiry about this role, please contact Steffan Banholzer at Steffan.Banholzer@cyfoethnaturiolcymru.gov.uk

Interviews will be face to face (details of location will be shared in advance)

Successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) check. Appointments are normally made within 4 to 8 weeks of the closing date.
